Some GBA games not working.

I have the GBA bios installed and some games do work but some of them just go back to the game list screen on emulation station after selecting them.
Does anyone know why?

had that problem with other emulator/roms. i think some roms are emulator specific. try opening the rom with an alternate gba emulator

Thanks for the reply but i figured out my issue. Turns out that the games with the symbol "#" in its filename wouldn't load. So i went in and renamed all files and they all work now.
