Installing roms advice

Post by Lpoolm » Wed Dec 20, 2017 2:00 am

Right I know this seems like a dead part of the forum but worth a go... I'm not liking recalbox but it's the easiest option on my 1up(which I also don't like :D) my latest issue is transferring roms, all the small consoles are fine, even n64 but for some reason I can not transfer ps1. I think it might be a size issue but searched Google /YouTube and can not find a solution. The only thing I read was to ssh into the pi and do it that way, it part transfers then comes up with an error message.. any recalbox tips would be great. I won't have this build for much longer, will be getting sold after Christmas

Silly question but do you have enough empty space on your system ?

Code: Select all

df -h
This command will show free space

It is actually the size of the roms that is the problem.

did you try winscp? it is more forgiving with the network & timeout issues.

Yes, I have tried winscp, this part transfers then fails, I was considering trying to move them across still zipped? Not had chance to try yet though.
