Really interesting, I was about to use a microcontroller on my Playstation Pi since it is not on batteries though this solution is even better! Thanks :D

I'll try to make the pololu graceful shutdown works with Recalbox.
If I success, I'll make a little tuto.

hey guys this gracefull shutdown is it realy important or something to pimp you GBZ further?
If yes i will get some aditional parts else i will leave it for the moment..

Not really important, just a nice feature.
Without that you must use the retropie menu to shutdown your pi before switch off the power.
If you do not that, the risk is to corrupt your SD Card.

It will alert you if your battery runs low and
it offers a safe method to shutdown your GBZ via the switch of a button.

If you do not need those features, ignore it.
But some kind of indicator if your battery is low,
is useful if you do not want to have a corrupted SD Card or lose progress in your games.

It's not technically necessary or required but still really important. Shutdowns are otherwise controlled through software, making the physical power button not as useful.

ah okay thanks. So i did not order the Adafruit Powerboost 1000C but a 3.7V Li-ion Battery Mini USB To USB A Power Supply Module is it possible with this module to or do i realy need the adafruit board?

I think you need the Adafruit one, or at least a module with similar features like the EN Pin.

Are you sure you've got the right power supply module?
You need one which is able to charge and boost the voltage.

the adafruit products are quite exspensive next to some others thats why but if it is not the right one im back to the ordering table haha.

You're good with the one form the wiki. No worries.
But you will not be able to use the graceful shutdown method with it, as far as i know.
