I got everything soldered and set up including the custom button script but my up button and b button are not working. I did continuity testing and there does not seem to be any shorts. If I plug in a keyboard the up and b button work fine so I do not think that it's a software issue. The odd think is that I can not get continuity from the pad on the board header to the pad on the button interface for either up or b.

I'm thinking about running a wire from the pi to the button pad on the front of the controller board. Will that work?

Hi,

did anyone tried to install recalbox/batocera image on the Snes Zero? Had Retropie working, but i dont like that os. I already have a pi3 with Recalbox, so that would be easier for me.
Tried recalbox and activatet gpio controller, but it doesnt work, only 2 buttons or so are working.Perhaps anyone had the same problems and solved it.

Regards
Andre

quick question:
does the HDMI solution provide enough power to support the build-in bluetooth thingy, in order to connect a second bluetooth controller?
Yes it does.

Yes, that's what I do with my 8bitdo NES30 Pro and SNES-Zero.

When you add a second player, you need to go into retroarch and configure it there.

Launch a game on the system that you want to configure the controls on, and go to Settings>Input>Input User 2 Binds and configure it there, that worked for my bluetooth controller anyway.

Is it possible to book the HDMI 5v to a power boost 100c instead of the pi and then connect the power boost to the pi instead to introduce lipo battery backup capabilities ?

Has anybody got pictures of adding the external micro USB port? How it's attached and such?

Where in the world are you going to fit a Powerboost and a battery? In a new box you build on the TV end?
