No, but I didn't try. I figured the speaker was all or nothing, and if I needed to be quiet, I'd use headphones (which has full pot rotation sensitivity). If you think of a solution, let me know

@kilren Do you have a better diagram of which pins are which for the replacement headphone jack? I have the same one you do.

Hey, can you provide an image of what the physical wiring looks like? I'm new to soldering/electronics and I'd really like to not mess up with my kit I got... :s

I have a GBA speaker and a cheap $5 USB audio adapter from adafruit - would I just take that apart and plug in the USB end, then wire it to the speaker? Or am I misunderstanding the purpose of using it?

Hi guys, i think i've gone and ordered the wrong POT, the ones i bought have 3 pins, instead of 5. Are 5 pins the way to go? Is there some way of using the 3 pin potentiometer (i've ordered helders all in one board).

Also the use of ferrite beads i've read can help with noise distortion? Can anyone recommend any suppliers in the UK?

Went to Fry's to buy all the stuff to make my own low-pass filter. They had all the pieces except for one. I was still going to buy everything else. So was walking around the store, and came across this Sabrent USB Sound card for $8. Remember Wermy said people were using it, so I dropped all my parts to make my own because the cost was going to end up being more than this USB option. I'd be able to make 100 of them, but only just needed one.

So my question, I see you use a different amp, will the AdaFruit one still work? Is it the same concept as the one you use? Already purchased the Adafruit one.
