Connect Raspberry Pi to PT2262/PT2272

I have a Raspberry Pi that I'd like to connect to 433mhz rf-link remote control transmitter (PT2262). On the receiving end, I have another Raspberry Pi with the PT2272 receiver unit attached. Due to the data voltage difference between the pi and the transmitter/receiver, I have a logic level converter (TXB0108PWRG4) upping the data voltage for me.

I believe I have the transmitter side working, although I'm not 100% sure because I don't have an oscilloscope. I'm trying to work from this image

I have a voltage meter to test on the receiving side that isn't showing any data coming in (although I may be using it incorrectly).

I would appreciate help with a diagram/instructions to help me though this.
