Hi all I apologize if this was asked before and if I'm posting in the wrong section.
I want to connect a pi zero to adafruit's 2.8" pitft screen https://www.adafruit.com/product/1601
I don't want to plug the pi into the back of the screen but run wires from the screen to the pi zero. Is there a web page or video that shows the correct spots to solder the wires to? Or do I just have to solder the 26 pins to the corresponding spots on the pi via the wires? And if so which 26?
Thanks in advance

I did this a couple years ago, here's my (probably unclear) wiring diagram:
It's the pins with orange dots
I don't know if all 9 wires are needed, but it worked
