Battery level indicator board

Has anyone used one of these battery indicator boards in a build yet? KA2284.

I'm confused by the fact it has four connections as most battery boards seem to only have two. Does this mean it requires a load on it to work? Also I assume you keep the jumper connected the way it is in the picture if using DC as it seems to work for AC too?

If i read the schematic right, input and vcc is for AC or DC, ground is ground.
So you only need to wires, one ground and one for ac or dc.

Ok thanks, so it's vcc and either of the ground connections for dc? Any idea about the jumper, as in the schematic it looks like putting a jumper there maybe bypasses the 1st capacitor, so with a jumper = dc and without = ac?
