It's much smaller then a standard pi0, and has specs that are very close. Provided that it's not a scam, it could compete well when building a GameBoyZero.

Re: Another Pi0 alternative
That looks really neat! It does only have 64MB of ram though (512Mbit = 64MByte) so it is pretty much a high spec router CPU. All the developer friendly examples are good though
but it's probably not going to be better than the Pi Zero..

Re: Another Pi0 alternative
maybe the ram is just a typo? the demos with the keyboard down the page look a bit too intensive for just 64MB of ram? it does look interesting thoughkite wrote:That looks really neat! Re: Another Pi0 alternative
Nope afraid not a typo http://linux-sunxi.org/LicheePi_Zero there isn't any external RAM it can only be embedded in the CPU chip, and according to the images it's the V3s http://linux-sunxi.org/V3smoosepr wrote:maybe the ram is just a typo? the demos with the keyboard down the page look a bit too intensive for just 64MB of ram? it does look interesting though

Re: Another Pi0 alternative
Yeah shame really as EVERYTHING else about it is good.. like even if the CPU was the AllWinner H3 or something it would be a fantastic module, basically like the CHIP..moosepr wrote:ah good catch!! explains how they can get the price so low!!
EDIT: chip already is allwinner
