Wire

Post by Holliday86 » Tue May 16, 2017 10:38 am

Hey all,

Random one here, I've got a mini screen and pi zero / controller pcb all hooked up with some single core wire. This is all awesome and working fine, but the problem is that the wire is really inflexible and it restricts how I can route it about the place.

I've had one or 2 connections snap off, So this isn't ideal.

So my question is - which wire does everyone use and is there any specific gauge or type I should be looking for?

Thanks.

Stranded silicone wire is the way to go in my opinion. 28 or 30 gauge for most of the connections. 26 for the power should be fine.

Thanks so much. That's exactly what I needed to know.
