As I bought a cheap reverse camera screen from eBay, the add said it was 640x480.
I doubt this.
How can I test this?

The rearview camera LCDs are usually 320x240, you can look up the LCD part # on google and you will find the full specs of the LCD

Try "xrandr --current" in the terminal.
