Connecting an LCD via GPIO

Speaking of Youtube videos, meant to post this a while back, but forgot.

Ben Heck installs an LCD on a Raspberry Pi using GPIO - no HDMI or composite required. It lets you lose the HDMI or Composite driver board (saving space - and cost, since you can just get a bare board)

Cool. Looks like he's just using the DPI interface stuff provided by Adafruit. It does work well - I used the "kippah" version of it on a project a while back. :)
