Finally after parts sourcing and waiting for the last minty pi board batch delivery I found some time to build two just very usual MintyPis.
Two because I have two children...
For the color I choose: The tin was hard to get where I live actually and I am happy to get some, another style then the common red one was not possible to get. Why I didn`t print in red: because I had no dark red PLA for the moment...
Nothing special for these builds... I just struggled a bit with the cut outs: on the first build the power switch cutout is much too big and on the second I made the micro usb a bit too wide...
Some improvement I am looking for: on/off lettering next to the switch. Should look semi professional. I am thinking about very small 3d printed letters to glue next to the switch. Because I often forget to slide the switch after shut off command in retropie.
Just one note: I decided for standard and very cheap charger board TP4056 since the battery has already a protection board build in. I just changed the charging programming resistor to 2K Ohm in order to set charging current to 580mA.
Just another (two) MintyPi
