Does the _MACOSX folder need to be in the boot folder too, or can we leave that out?

Nope, you can delete that. An annoying artifact of zipping a folder form macOS.

Hi! Just got my parts and I'm wondering if I can attach the speaker and sound card later after I build it, it looks like it can come apart and I can just solder it when they come (it's taking several weeks to ship) thanks to anyone who can help!

Aah, you said "material" and my mind went straight to 3d-printing. That's on my to-do list actually is get that theme modified so it looks nice on the small screen (only place I have it is an older version of it on that mintyPi) and put it up for folks to use. It is a nice fit for the mintyPi.

Damn it! Altoids are not sold in Portugal and seems to be pretty expensive to buy from uk because of the cost of the shipping

I've heard adafruit sells blank metal tins with the exact same dimensions as altoids. Do you reckon you might have a local raspberry pi related distributer that might stock these?

Here's a slightly crazy idea I just had. Maybe someone could get creative and 3d print an altoids sized case - with the usb and power switch holes already cut out?
