I get what you're saying, and I did that, and buttons are silky smooth if you push them straight down. The issue is pushing down at an angle and it engaging the rounded outer part. I don't want to take too much meat out of the print when smoothing it or the button will be all over the place in there.wermy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 26, 2017 3:39 pmAlso if you take your time and file down the inner square piece so it's as smooth as possible, as well as the corners of the outer part of the button wells, you can get it nice and smooth with no catching - I've done several this way. It can take some patience but it's worth it!

Ah, yeah you don't want to take too much off. The other thing that helps a lot is to very gently smooth out the edges of the base of the button itself. After doing those things every build I've done feels nice and smooth, even when rolling your thumb (i.e running and jumping in mario or whatever).obsidianspider wrote: ↑Wed Jul 26, 2017 3:47 pmI get what you're saying, and I did that, and buttons are silky smooth if you push them straight down. I'll have to give that a try when I crack open the case again to install Helder's new power meter board.

Wanted to post back and say that after I tightened the screws, the button binding issue I had went away.
