Colors for 3d-printed parts [Poll/gauging interest]
Hey guys!
I'm trying to get some parts ready to make available soon, and I'd like to know which colors I should print the most of in order to keep up. You can select two options in the poll. Below is a reference picture for the colors. Thanks!

I feel like the colors are a bit off. Teal is more of a light blue, and maroon is just pink.
That being said. The look great. Just wish the colors were a bit more in tune with their tin color
Keep up the good work none the less!

Well, they say teal and maroon on the spools. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ They do look pretty dang close to the tin colors in person, I'd say, so the picture may be a tad misleading. Maroon is definitely lighter than the tin, but it's still nice and complimentary in my opinion.SinisterHumaniod wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2017 9:18 pmI feel like the colors are a bit off. I think the blue works great, as it matches the tin perfectly. But the "Maroon" looks VERY light compared to the tin, in the picture at least. Hoping it really does look better in person

Well like I say, it definitely *is* a fair bit lighter than the tin but still goes well with it, I think. I can see if I can find a darker maroon if it bugs people.SinisterHumaniod wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2017 9:47 pm

I'm going to guess red will by far be the most popular colour due to the lack of general availability of the other flavours outside USA... so Red is safe for you to do a buttload of.

What about other flavors? There's black for licorice, yellow for ginger, and light green and a more golden yellow if you were to make parts for creme de menthe and honey.
Just was wondering because I was planning on building in a licorice tin, and that would make it a bit more difficult if I had to order from another party. I know there's a few other people who would like to build in a few other flavors too. Thanks

These are the main flavors that you can actually go into a store and buy, so those are the ones I'll stock up on. I planned to make custom colors available for a little more by request.FishtreeFarms wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2017 10:25 amWhat about other flavors? I hadn't thought of the colours matching the tin until now...
Regardless it has to be red. Why any other colour?
Saying that I do like the teal and maroon.

@Wermy,
are you going to make the stl's (not the source) available to print them ourselves? If not, I can understand
