I don't know of a schematic available. Then again, based on what I've heard about their customer service from people only getting their stuff after filing a PayPal dispute after waiting over a month with no contact (I have two and mine were fine, but shipping took way too long), if there were competition, they'd have to close up shop.

Well, I’m in for two - was just about to start soldering tomorrow too...gives me a few weeks to practice it now. :)

From what I can see, the mausberry is the same as the atxraspi or any of the other safe shutdown systems. When you frob the button or the switch an attiny sends a signal to the pi which runs the shutdown script. As its final act the pi sends a signal back. The attiny waits a few seconds to be sure, then cuts the power. The attiny stays on, listening for you to frob the switch again, and when you do it reapplies power. So it's always using a small amount of power. I've also seen an analog solution that completely cuts power but that one can only be a pushbutton, not a switch. Might be worth using with a slide switch like the DS. here, have a link

I'd love to see the schematic. If it's public.

Pimoroni also makes something similar (doesn't include the circuit for battery level sensing though):

(I've been using their library to do safe shutdowns via the Power Boost)

Here is an overview (with diagrams) on implementing battery level sensing using an MCP3008:

I'd be interested in this board, for more than my MintyPi needs. Make extras.

Can someone please point me in the direction of the purchasing link for safe shutdown for mintypi? I've been following the entirety of mintypi from the beginning but never saw a link on the main thread. Now having searched thru the forums and still having no luck I feel I might as well ask the masses!
