Returning to the forums from a short break, I have something to say about a locked thread.
Hello! I am returning to the forums from a short break just because it was kind of inactive. (As one of our newest members, gamingbro, pointed out.)
I understand why, because we're in between minty pi models and all of that jazz, anyway I was looking through the waterproofing topic (now locked) and I was thinking: what if there was some sort of shrink-wrap that shrinks with heat. Would it be better than just putting it in a ziplock bag?
I have a few things to say, that don't really deserve individual posts, so I am cramming them into one: I have started practice for the mintypi using the practice boards and I will have a full build log with pics once I am done! And also, a much cooler thing, I have found a retro Altoids tin in a family member's house that I plan on using, and I would like to know your opinions!
It needs some cleaning up all around, but I say it will be worth the work.
I am glad to be back, and look forward to sharing this experience with the others who are doing there own build their first mintyPis as well!
-mrnato
sidenote- I am making this for a friend, so I don't know if I should stick them with this lousy, rusty tin, that I enjoy but they might not. I will ask them but I also appreciate your input.

You need to use the links with the extension at the end and not shortlinks for the images:

Because you are making all sorts of topics that are kind of dumb to be honest. Who in their right minds wants to play with ANY Electronic device in the rain? Ask anyone here if they will play their mintyPi or GBZ or PSP or Cellphone or whatever in the rain, pretty sure they won't so I take the topic as just you trying to start a conversation on something impractical so I locked it.
Chat with me and other members On Discord
Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

We will not support any cloned work so don't come to us with technical issues to resolve, go talk to the cloner for help.

Sorry to say gamingbro but I totally agree with Helder. Some (I mean most) of your topics are a bit dumb, and thats actually not where this forum is for... I like to see that you are thinking about all kinds of things, but please think twice before you make a topic about it...Helder wrote: ↑Fri Feb 22, 2019 9:25 am

Don't take it personally, dude. It's just that a lot of the topics you've started are redundant and some would be more suited for the discord chats. Your enthusiasm is a good thing, but some self-vetting would be appreciated. Please don't be shy about asking important questions, and remember to always use the search function....odds are any important inquiries have already been resolved in the past.
