I`d like to use the screen from my failed minty pi 3 (Dont ask!!) build...

I`d like to plug it directly into the hdmi port on a pi zero..is this possible??

The ribbon cable from the screen seems to have 10 pins, but any ribbon to hdmi converters i see look like twenty pins.

Is this even possible?

It will jist not work. Reason: two totally different protocols.

Thanks for the reply. Surely the screen is just an off the shelf LCD non specific for the minty pi.
What is being outputed on the ribbon cable?

It's an SPI LCD not one that is compatible with that camera connector on the Pi zero.

Not sure what your asking and if it's a mintyPi question or general question.
