I don’t want to put my mintypi together until I can MAKE SURE FOR CERTAIN WiFi is working is there a way I can make sure. Because In wermys video he shows a little menu that pops up and I can’t get mine to do that. Also is there a battery indicator icon that shows battery percentage?

you can plug the pi in with an hdmi cable to a monitor, and set up or check the wi-fi there from the settings menu in retropie. you can also set that up with the wpa_supplicant file.n

there is a battery indicator on the v3 image when you hold down the hotkey (also a wifi and bluetooth indicator)
