Heat

Post by Holliday86 » Thu Jul 20, 2017 9:57 am

Hi, I'm just checking that the wiring on my minty pi isn't messed up. The pi boots and screen works etc with no issues, But the temperature warning comes on really soon.

Is this an issue my side?

Thanks

You're getting one of these heat icons? https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... g-icons.md

I've never had that come on, and I've had multiple builds running for hours at a time doing battery and screen tests... So I'd definitely say something's up, if you are seeing those.

Yeah, that's what I'm seeing. I'll take it to bits and check nothing has messed up. Cheers

If you have setup wifi on the pi you can use putty to run a command that will tell you the temp but not too much of a Linux guru to remember it. I think it might be a bad battery or Lipo board causing the battery to get extensively hot.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

Thanks helder. I'll remove the powerboost completely and run off power to pi for a test. Cheers
