finger broken on ribbon

I was putting some tape on the ribbon to thicken it up and it wasn't aligned right so I took it off and it tore off a bit of some of the fingers.
Is it still salvageable

Chances are likely you can't use that in the socket since most of the pin is missing which was caused by you but there is hope. If you can desolder the 18pin socket you can solder that ribbon onto the PCB and it will work. Now listen up this is a 1 time offer for you, you ship it back to me and I will solder it on for you and test it before shipping it back but you pay shipping both ways since the damage was from you.
