I'm not sure why it wouldn't work with my newer asus a68w router cause im pretty sure i had the same wpa2 security. After all that filezilla wouldn't connect to the pi after several attempt until i finally realized i had to switch it from ftp (that i use all the time with xboxs) to ssh.jrok96 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2017 7:11 pmjust noticed the same. although there's a tiny chance that maybe i forgot to add the ssid and password the last time i made the image.. might just have to disassemble the minty pi and remake the image. dryjoint are you saying that the quotation marks should have been deleted? if so then that would definitely be the cause in my case but somehow i doubt they should be deleted.![]()

Reformatting the sd card and putting the image on it again still would not fix it. I don't know if I might have a bad pie or a bad sd card either, I'll have to try with a different sd card some other time.

Before you close the pi up in the tin maybe connect a keyboard, and use the keyboard to manually connect to your wifi network? That's all I can think of if it still isn't working for you. Or if you have access to a Bluetooth keyboard you could use that.

Re: Can't get IP Address to show
After multiple reformats and re-imaging on four microSD cards, and a router reboot and firmware update, I finally got one of the cards to show the IP address! Unfortunately, it was not on the mintypi setup that is almost completed but for this part and games, but on the monitor via hdmi trying to get the second mintypi to boot up. Sigh
. I copied that microSD once it was updated. Hoping the others like it and will get the screen to come back up.
Now, I can't get the games to transfer from the USB drive (no sound card attached on this one). I know I saw it somewhere, so searching again. These little parts are so finicky!
