Hybrid Soundcard Thingy??

Im thinking of mounting the 3.5mm jack and speaker at once, but I cant found the hybrid thingy that makes speaker muted when you plug in your headphone. I really want that so help me.. :cry: :cry: :cry:

You'll need a 5pin headphone socket like this one for example.

And there is a wiring guide here in the forums somewhere, do a search in the Hardware Guides subforum.

Also, wouldn't a stereo jack make more sense? or is it bigger?

Yes stereo will work best I just overlooked the item name and looked more for the image of the socket.
