Bluetooth or W-Lan Multiplayer

I wondered, if someone already tried to programm a multiplayer solution for the system. I would try to make one but not if someone with experience tells me, that my affort would be wasted. I'm usualy more into Arduino and never programmed something for respary pie.

The Idea is, to connect 2 Mintys with each other to play the same game in multiplayer. Like Bomberman and Mario Kart.

Sounds fairly simple.

To make it less an anouncement and more a discussion. I wanted to ask if there was someone with time and expirience could help me with that project. Or someone like that, who just tells me that it's just not do able.

Sorry for any mistakes, though. I'm no foreigen english speaker.

The idea is, to connect two mintyPis via Bluetooth or W-Lan to play a multiplayer game.
Even though i have no experience with resbarry pie.
A few questions about that:

1.: Would the connection even be fast enough to play properly?

2.: Is it realistic? Or even already a feature?
(There multiplayer feature is already implimented to the oreginal retroPi.

Hope i raised some interest for the topic.
Pleas add any suggestions... or try to do it yourself if you are experienced einough.

I know this is an old thread but have you tried retroarch netplay? I haven't tried it on my mintypi but it works with my pi 3B just fine.
