did you test the voltage directly at the battery pads ? just to be sure it's not the protection board inside the battery that is faulty. also wire directly the TP4056 to the battery without the switch to eliminate possible resistance inside the switch...

I did not but I'll be sure to try that when I get home. I'm assuming just be careful not to shock myself?

You risk nothing at that voltage and current :lol: don’t worry, you could even take positive in one hand and negative in the other, nothing would happen :D

Ok just tried soldering the charging board directly to the VCC, still 1.13v on the PCB

And just the raw battery voltage without load ? Several measures, do you have 4.2V (full battery)

Ok I finally got it... It was a bad connection to the 5V gpio

This is almost always bad GND or bad 5V on the board or Pi GPIO so always redo those first.
