Yeah, that is not ok and will fry things fast and maybe catch on fire in the case of the battery. They need to look more like this:

Based on the pictures, my guess this is your first time soldering. That is WAY too much solder and would highly recommend having someone fixing it for you since you more than likely do not have the correct tools to be able to clean that up. I can do it but I am somewhat unreliable right now due to working 12 hour nights in the later part of the week and working on personal projects and renovations in my spare time. You might be able to reach out to Helder and see if he will do it but he isn't going to do it for free.

It depends. If it's just cleaning up those connections, probably not too much. I think if he has to desolder and resolder the Pi, he charges $50. Just really depends how much work is involved. But he will test it, clean it, and make sure everything is working before sending it back.

Just out of curiosity, have you powered on the device at all or plugged it in in any way? If not, then don't. I'm just curious.

I would like to see the back of the pi to see how bad that looks, if you are not getting the results like in the build video do no continue. It also looks like you are using the wrong iron tip and very very likely the wrong kind of solder for this, and too much of it.
