D pad right not working v3.5

I'm building version 3.5 of the mintypi, however the right dpad is completely unresponsive.
1. I've completed soldering the button PCB to the PI.
2. I've tested the connections with a multi meter. All the connections worked with the exception of the right dpad connection. I added a jumper wire from the PI to the PCB as advised in the build guide.
3. I've connected the screen and speaker. Everything works as best I can tell apart from the right dpad key. The right dpad key is
completely unresponsive.
4. I believe I may have overheated the right dpad connection. I have also checked if I have shorted a connection to ground, which I do not believe that I have.
5. I've attached a photo in case that helps.
