Sound card not recognized

So I recently build my MintyPi and intalled the v4 software on it and everything worked great, sound was fine. Went into settings up update the software to get the battery indicator on the screen and after the update my sound card is no longer recognized. Tried it a few times with two SD cards and always the same result, anyone have the issue?
