Audio issues in lr-gpsp and trying to get regular gpsp to use the auto-savestate and savestate button features

So, lr-mgba sucks, even with the bios. lr-gpsp mostly works, but there's some audio issues and very slight slowdown here or there. Regular gpsp works like a dream, but I don't get any of the benefits that lr-emulators get. Does anyone know how I can either fix the slight audio crackling in lr-gpsp, or get regular gpsp to work with all those nice savestate features?
