This is just from a quick look with a multimeter, but it looks like if you flip it over, you can scratch off a bit of the PCB coating and connect the wire to this spot in stead. It seems to just connect straight through the board to the pad you ripped off.

I just ripped off the one next to that one (data minus?) Do you think you could help me find another trace?

I pulled both data lines off..
.. top of resistor.. as in lettering upright?

Top when looking at it in OP post photo. Yes lettering. R5 is the other data line by the way. Also the top.

Can someone possibly put up a diagram for different connection locations when the pads come off? I had three pop off when I was working on mine. It would be nice to salvage my sound card.
