Wiring speaker to this USB audio board

Hi all,

So I have a few of these laying around, (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5V-USB- ... 559.JfJ0k1) and I wonder if anyone can help me with how to wire a speaker to them. I have removed the 3.5mm aux jack, but do not know what pins to use for the speaker (worked fine with the pi using the headphone jack). Is there an easy way to find this out, i'm not sure where to start. Any help is appreciated!

Ps. this fits in the tin without removing the crystal, that is why I thought I would try to use them... I also have some of the ones Wermy mentioned in his guide ordered, but it's been about 7 weeks and they haven't arrived yet...ugh...

Looks like the traces I highlighted are the left and right but since I can't see the board where the headphone socket is you will have to trace them to the pads they go to.

Maybe I'm missing something but from all the pics I've seen these are but identical aside from a different crystal and style jack.

All components and numbering look like for like.

Have you tried Wiring it up the same as the guide?

It's got 6 solder points not 5. But it looks like it's probably the same otherwise. I was gonna test it tomorrow. I'll post results then.

Well, I just received my speakers, and decided to try to do the audio....No luck whatsoever. I cannot get the speaker to make any sound, and I keep getting this error: something about failing to connect to default card.

Here is my wiring on the usb soundcard, i have tried two sound cards and have the same issues, one pad was lifted but I believe i wired to the correct spot as per Helders diagram:

I have it wired to the pi currently and my soldering looks good, and I have checked over and over again to make sure I have the proper pads connected, and I have twisted and un twisted the data wires. I have wired power to the power boost and to the pi, same results.

This diagram is what veterangamer provided to me, can anyone help me with where I should wire the speaker too, which pads? According to helders diagram, it should be pads 3 and 4 for left and right. But since I can't get the card to be detected it won't make sound still...even when I bridge left and right, and wire that and ground to the speaker

i'm not sure what else to do, tempted to just skip the audio, im waiting on some other soundcards still (same as the guide) but they are taking forever.
