PWM audio with mintyPi.img

Im using the mintyPi.img for a different type of project and its great. However, I want to use pwm audio instead of usb audio. What changes do I need to make to change it back to pwm audio? Is it as easy as just deleting the asound.conf in the etc folder?

Enable pwm audio on the config.txt (as you would like the GBZ builds)
