You need solid 100% proof soldered connections on all the points including the GND points. Why do people ask for help but never post a damn picture of the soldering? This is ALWAYS the issue and check power on the LCD board it should be 3.3v between VCC and GND on the LCD board when it's powered. Is the battery fully charged as well?
