Alternative powerboost 500 wiring?
Alternative powerboost 500 wiring?
I tore off 2 pads while removing the jst port on the powerboost 500. Adafruit's webpage says "You can connect a battery to the breakout strip or to the JST connector." Does anyone know how to go about doing that?

You can just solder the battery to the BAT and GND pin on the top of the board there. I did the same, the pads were still intact but I could not get it to work, so I wired it there and it works fine.
