JST jack removal

I don't have flush cutters, and I'm terrified of lifting a pad off the adafruit battery charger.
Will scissors suffice?
Any help appreciated

2 options buy the cheap lipo chargers or a cheap pair of flush cutters, scissors won't cut it (get it ) unless these things are some kind of utility scissors but they don't cut flush.

Harbor Freight has flush cutters for sale for $3.99. I picked one up from Micro Center for around that.

Man, flush cutters are great for all kinds of things. Once I got a pair, I was like "WHERE HAS THIS TOOL BEEN ALL MY LIFE!?" I recommend you get some, and while your at it, get a good brand like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Xcelite-170M-Gen ... ush+cutter

Ideally cutters are needed. No way scissors!

Can someone label the alternate powerboost? I'd get flush cutters, but I also want the board to charge the battery faster, at 1A. Is BAT+ and BAT- where the output is? Is IN+ and IN- where the battery goes to?
Would it also be practical to just not remove the jack at all?

Well the JST jack is only plastic so it would work just fine. Again, no substitute for proper snips. If you wanna charge at 1A and not have to worry about the JST just buy the TP4056, job done.

IN+ and IN- are for 5V soldered directly to the board so don't touch those, use the Bat+ and Bat- like it has been shown in the crude drawing.
