MicroLipo compatability with updated parts

I've finally been able to begin building my MintyPi this weekend, but I've run into a problem. I thought Wermy's suggestion for buying the cheaper charging board was just a suggestion. But, now that I'm trying to make everything fit, I see that the MicroLipo is actually just a little too wide to fit between the battery and the sound card.

Is there anything I can do with what I have, or will I need to buy the new charging board?

I would save the microlipo for another project, such as a small form factor handheld with less battery capacity, and just buy the new charging board. It's cheap, common, and will charge the battery faster. Plus, You don't even have to remove the JST jack.
