Mintypi not powering on with lipo connected

When i have usb plug into wall outlet pi powers up fine show sudomod tft on screen but when i try to run off battery power i get nothing and lipo battery is charged

What have you done to troubleshoot the issue?

I test on vcc and 5v pin multimeter is reading -1

Are you testing voltage on vcc? I wrote a guide on how to troubleshot power viewtopic.php?f=34&t=4115

Do you have sound on the speaker? Also, make sure your SD card is imaged with the latest mintyPi image. 4.2v from the battery is perfect

Check that GND has continuity from the Pi to the battery negative.
