Hi-
I recently finished building my mintyPi with a screen from amazon (link below) and a pcb I made from a 3d printed board and some copper tape. It was working fine for a few days until I booted it up one day and the screen only showed white. I still hear the startup sounds and menu navigation sounds, but the screen just shows white. I tried it with hdmi, and the hdmi output works fine. I opened it up, checked continuity from the screen and the pi and checked the voltage to the screen, and everything seemed ok. I tried re-imaging the sd card to see if I had messed something up in the settings, but I still had the same problem. Finally, I charged he battery to full, and my screen was still white. Is there a chance the screen has become damaged? I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on how I can fix this.
Thanks in advance!

What lcd back board are you using? It sounds like you have a bad connection on the screen.

There are pictures of the board on the amazon link. I checked the connection from the board to the pi and everything seems fine. How would I go about checking the connection from the lcd board to the lcd? What pins would I test the continuity between?

These pads and the corresponding ones on the button PCB. You should check voltage on this pcb too.WhatTimeIzzet? wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 7:37 pmThere are pictures of the board on the amazon link. I bought a screen from amazon and made my own button pcb with copper tape. I am not using any of helder's parts.

That's my fault, I forgot you said that. What do you have your screen soldered to?WhatTimeIzzet? wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 8:43 pmI bought a screen from amazon and made my own button pcb with copper tape. I am not using any of helder's parts.

Re: mintyPi was working fine, but now has a white screen.
Based on images of the pcb, I was able to figure out which gpio pin to connect each of the 9 screen pins to. This way, it is exactly as if I had used helder's parts, except rather than use a pcb and ribbon connector, each screen pin is connected to the gpio pins via a wire. And it worked great until just a few days ago.
