I cannot get the battery monitor to work. My mintypi has the v2 button pcb (the blue one with the battery monitor circuit built in) and the v4 mintypi image.
Things I’ve already tried:
1.Toggle the monitor on/off using mode + A (duh)
2.Reflow solder on the gpio pins
Edit: I’m using the TP4056 charger and the Adafruit 1200 mAh battery

Re: Battery monitor not showing
Maybe burn a new image? That's what I would try first. Do you have any pics of the wiring?
Everything else works as it should?

Re: Battery monitor not showing
Please post a picture so we can see if you soldered the proper gpio, wermy didn't call out the proper gpio in his latest video.
Edit: I'm a dumbass, I was talking about the mode button above, not battery monitor

Re: Battery monitor not showing
Here’s a pic I got:
Everything checks out with my multimeter’s continuity tester.
I forget to take a pic of my mode gpio but it’s the one to the left of the CS pin

Re: Battery monitor not showing
Why are you sure, that this is a hardware issue? Did you check the script, which Displays the overlay? This evening I will check the sources to point you to the right folder.

Re: Battery monitor not showing
Also check continuity for the SDA and SCL to GND and possibly VCC since it's close by, you might have a short.
