Raspberry Pi 0w data pad ripped off!
I was soldering my wire to my raspberry pi 0, and it popped off! I'm not sure what to do. And, I know how to solder (But thats beside the point.)

I have a VERY similar problem! The same exact pad on my board is bridged to ground, but I can't see how. Can anyone assist? Possibly with a gpio bypass method or something similar?

Take a picture of the area and show us, likely there is a bridge to the usb socket anchor points.

I removed the usb port because I believed that I may have dripped some solder through one of the mounting points, but I've cleaned it up as best I could and can't find the short anywhere. I'm really scratching my head over this. Thank you for your reply.

Look where I drew the lines, looks like a GND trace is going to one of the data pins unless I'm mistaken. Either way just make sure all of those pins are isolated from everything so there is nothing touching.exsnaggerwes wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 4:02 pmI removed the usb port because I believed that I may have dripped some solder through one of the mounting points, but I've cleaned it up as best I could and can't find the short anywhere.
