Broken pads

Post by Beebeboy » Fri Dec 14, 2018 6:24 pm

I realized there was a bit too much space put between the already-soldered raspberry pi and button PCB, so I unscrewed the bottom screws of the raspberry pi to think that would help me desolder it or something (I am a complete novice to these things) and I ended up accidentally ripping the raspberry pi off, all of the PCB's pads are messed up, and there aren't any more available right now. What now?

only solution, but the pi back in place as best you can. soldering to some intact pads to make sure it sticks. Then run individual jumper wires from the pi zero to each of the labelled test pads. It won't look pretty, but hopefully it will work. This is also assuming you did not damage the pi from ripping it off. Can you confirm it will boot and power on (hook it to a TV to test).
