psx trouble

So I have placed the new monitor_evdev.py in the OneForAll directory, pcsx contents into the pcsx config directory. I then moved onto the rom for ff tactics and set the default emulator to pcsx-rearmed. But when I launched it stayed at the black screen and was completely inactive. Diagnostics?

I mentioned this elsewhere but will post here which will get lost and someone will ask about it again. For whatever reason it's a pain in the ass to get it working properly using the method I described and actually requires more steps which will make for a large tutorial so I'm planning to release an image with the PSX settings all setup you just need the PSX BIOS file which is NOT included in the image.

It will be a week or so till I get time to do it so sit tight.
