Do your boards support safe shutdown? I have one of cambles boards for the powerboost1000c lying aroiund

The board does but if you're depending on the LBO of the Powerboost 1000c to kick the system into shutdown my board doesn't have that but the battery monitor of the ADS1015 can initiate a safe shutdown once the battery is critically low just like on the mintyPi. The software for all of this will be released maybe this weekend.

The only protection is on the TP4056 which has overcharge protection. You should use a protected battery like 99% of people use in their builds for added protection.
