Thanks for the stl files. I tried to print those at the enormous 3D printer we have, but it came out hollow... lol... I might have to adjust some settings...

Heh, oops. :)

For what it's worth I printed with these settings, in Simplify3D:

100% infill
0.15mm layer height
2 outlines/shells
4 top and bottom solid layers

Edit: Although I suppose the top/bottom solid layers are sort of redundant since it's 100% infill anyway. :)

@wermy what is the inner diameter of the button wells?

Edit: Now that I can take a look at the STL file, it looks like it's about 11.5 mm.

@wermy the wells have me thinking. What would it take to print out something like this (outlined in black) to use as LR buttons? you could also put a circle in the middle with corresponding L and R

So that whole panel is the button, but it just looks like part of the case? I really like this idea.

Could be tricky to pull off...

Yeah, i'm practicing pulling it off on extra cases i have laying around. so far i have it cut out, it can work as a tactile button cover, glued on as a cap. so it extends a little higher than the case, and is pushable from the side.

That is so cool... I have a couple of extra cases I got off ebay, it's tempting to try this!

Nice idea! You could also use one of those and use the cut out part as a button.
