I would like to know how can I use (and charge) 14500 3.7V batteries on GB+1UP. Can you provide directions regarding the modifications necessary to acheive this ?

I also would like to know how the analog pad is connected to the GPIO... I didn't see it was natively supported on mk_arcade_pi module.

Thanks for you help !

Just use GP charge ,

I have a recalbox iso for GB+1UP,all setting done, you can use.

I mean charging the 14500 batteries letting them inside the GB+Pi... I assume this is not possible. I already own a 3.7V 14500 Li-Ion battery charger.

I also wanted to know whether using 3.7V 14500 batteries instead of 3.2V ones is doable without issues. I think you're using a step-down circuit, am I right ?

What I understand is that the analog pad is wired as a digital pad here. You cannot get analog position using GPIO, you must have arduino leonardo. I might hack your board and not connecting it to the GPIO :)

I hope I got in as one of the earlier purchases. :) I was REALLY hoping to have this in hand, in time for a birthday the second week of October! :)

YIPPI I SEE MY BOX IN THE PILE !!!!!

But as WOANS said in the documents it says on pg 48 "Can be modded to accommodate aa lithium batteries that supply 4.2v both types of batteries can change at the same time... PCB has the capability. Gamers can think about how to achieve this"

Anyone know how this can be done? Also anyone have any idea if this can be modded to have HDMI out also?

I got mine a few weeks back, to say the after sales support is minimal is an understatement!
I have searched forums, YouTube and there is very little in the way of help. I even stayed a thread on this site asking for help.
Someone who posts on here has done a few build vids but nothing that will answer the above questions raised.
The build is not too bad, but it's the finer detail that needs clarity.
Ive only just got past software issues I had, hopefully If these are ok I can start building, but I have noticed the pi warnings in the corner like rainbow square and lighting bolt!
Doubt I will keep it once done.
