Re: [IN STOCK] Custom GBZ lipo battery pack
Just how tight of a fit is this battery? I just purchased one the other day, and I've been thinking of getting a veco speaker, but i know you have to cut into the battery bay for that. I was wondering if they would both fit. If not, does anyone have any suggestions for alternative speakers that'll fit with this battery. I have the 8ohm 2W speaker that comes with Kite's Circuit Sword, but it's a but quiet and was hoping for an upgrade. Thanks

I belive last batch is about 14-15mm thick. If it will fit with veco I can't tell. If someone allready pulled it off is welcomed to comment on it

They will both fit, I suppose, if you cut battery bay, as you said. I used these speakers from ali (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/-/32829904035.html) instead of veco, and size is almost the same.Vincent1367 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 01, 2018 2:53 pmJust how tight of a fit is this battery? Just got mine today and wow, that's one hell of a tight fit. I have to say I'm a tad worried by it to be honest. Isn't applying pressure one of the things you're not supposed to to a lipo?
Maybe I just havn't trimmed the inside of my battery compartment enough.
Thoughts?

Just ordered mine, now it is a waiting game for Kite's board.

Since we don't have high current charge or disscharge battery doesn't "breathe" so much as it could so a bit of tight fit isn't all that problematic. It is allways a good idea to make as much room for it as possible but point with this battery is to have battey compartment with minimum trimming needed.Vincent1367 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 7:23 pmJust got mine today and wow, that's one hell of a tight fit. Okay, that puts me at ease then. That's good to know. Thanks Dex. Great product! Just bought a second one for my next project.Dextech wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 7:41 amSince we don't have high current charge or disscharge battery doesn't "breathe" so much as it could so a bit of tight fit isn't all that problematic.
