@VeteranGamer I've got the prototypes here. Just need to test them then I can place an order. Might be early March before I get them, but we'll see.

there not really a banggood ps (apart from being sold there), there a generic china ower/charge module...

you'll be able to get them anywhere aliexpress, ebay, amazon and obviously banggood...

search for: 3.7V Li-ion Lithium Battery Mini USB to USB A Power Supply Module Board Charge Module 5V 1A

or a mix of the wording, you'll easily find it

NB: i've personally found it better than the adafruit powerboost, especially the price and also the couple that I've had have ran alot cooler than
the adafruit (may be different result for others)

New pre-order thread here:

http://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2348

This is the same version, by the way. v1.1 was to have dual battery alert levels, but it was going to take too long to get yet another prototype made up.

ok... after a long time, i am trying to get the safeshutdown to work.
i soldered it in according to the pin layout on post1.

i have managed to dowload the script and files to the GBZ, but when i want to test the script with:

Code: Select all

python ~/GBZ-Power-Monitor_BG/gbz_power_monitor.py
via putty, nothing happens.....
the green cursor (not blinking) keeps visible, and it just stays like that :(

please help!
My first GBZ build -=HERE=- -> Became a gift to my little brother!
My 2nd GBZ build -=WIP HERE=- -> going with HDMI!

It never worked for me on one of my builds (I just put it on the back burner)...

It's not an installation issue on the hardware (I think)...

I think the script is at issue (not across the board)

I have it working on one build perfectly fine

At least I'm not the only one
