I hoping my battery shows up soon. I have considered ordering another battery cause I think mine got lost in the mail or something happened to it. Got my fingers crossed it shows up soon.

In the same boat... Shipping email on 7-16 and still nothing (US)... Trying to be patient, but may order one of the new batch instead. Not like they're super expensive.

Although, listen to us fuss about it. The original folks that ordered have had to wait many months to get them... One month is nothing comparatively...

Eagerly waiting for the shipping from China. You've done a great job with that, Dex. We will support you ;)

Again thank you guys for all your support!
To all of you in US awaiting your order (standard shipping) - experience so far is that delivery to east coast is about 5 weeks and up to 7 weeks for west coast, so there is still hope ;) I think fastest report of delivery was 4 weeks. I hope things will move faster from China.

Been two weeks for me in California an nothing. Still waiting patiently. Never shipped a battery so I'm being patient.

But 2 week difference from east to west coast doesn't make sense. Once it's handled to usps it shouldn't be more than 5 business days at the most. Weird.

You would think but international mail tends to sit in distribution centers for a log time. When I ordered my Kite SAIO boards it sat in a California distribution center for 3 days and then an Arizona one for another 3 days before it was finally released to be sent to New Jersey. I just received an ePacket from China that took 6 total days to receive after I ordered. Another ePacket has been sitting in the same distribution center for 3 weeks....

Dex's battery took exactly a month for me to get once it was shipped. Sit tight, it's worth it.

I just started working on my GBZ case and the first thing I did was cutting out the inner parts of the battery tray. Following the pictures in the first post I modified my case to make room for the battery.
Unfortunately even with all the supports cut out the battery doesn't fit. :(
My guess is that it is at least 2mm too wide due to the electronics attached to the battery itself.

Since I am not too keen on applying a lot of force to the battery and its electronics in particular I don't see any other solution than to cut away the biggest part of one of the walls. :(

Any other tips or advice would be much appreciated.

Quick tip to prevent damage to wires and/or electronics...put in electronics side first and then squeeze in other side of battery. It may look like it's 2mm to long but most of those 2mm is blue foil ;)

Also, push it in evenly, not at an angle. You're effectively elongating the battery by putting it in at an angle.
