Updated the pictures with the new cable.... MUCH BETTER! looks way cleaner and the cable is thinner and way more flexible. I have also made the changes needed to fit it into one of the cheap aftermarket controller housings made by tomee. I will order the new version and update this soon.

Re: [COMING SOON] PRS-Tech SNES-Zero. Complete retro gaming in a SNES Controller
I need some opinions please!
I think i want to eliminate the optional Micro SD card slot. Move the Micro USB over to that side. That will allow me to move the pi zero down so that the whole HDMI cable will be inside the case. Only down side i see is that we lose one screw mounting spot, but i really dont think it will be an issue.

If the casing stays well closed anyways.. I don't see a problem there. Having the cable completely inside is nice.. I think it makes the build neater
Cheers!

I wouldn't care about the micro SD port anyway, and it would look much nicer if the HDMI could fit right in the case.

Two posts above me summed it up perfectly, proposed changes sound great~

For me it looks perfect to keep it how it is and keep the screw hole due to button bashing and so on. I would look more into the the size of hdmi cables because there so many.
You may fine you have to pay more for the cable tho.
The only other thing is to buy this to solder to
